

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India who was appointed by the British Viceroy of India Lord Mountbatten. He was one of the revolutionaries who is supposed to be a part of the Indian Independence Revolution. He remained the President of Indian National Congress. Then he contested elections in 1952 for the first time in the independent India and become the Member of Parliament from Phulpur, Uttar Pradesh. 15 August 1947 to 27 May 1964

Gulzarilal Nanda was a part of Indian National Congress and served India for a period of 13 days after the Death of Jawaharlal Nehru. He was Member of Parliament from Sabarkantha, Gujrat Constituency. He was appointed as the Prime Minister of India by then President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and he remained PM just for 13 days from 27 May 1964 to 9 June 1964to fill out the PM’s office and then the Prime Ministry was handed over to Lal Bahadur Shastri who was them MP fro Allahabad.
